If you sign up with email, your password is securely hashed and stored by Firebase Authentication — we never store or have access to your plain-text password.
• Learning Data: Your learning progress, swipe history, scores, and language preferences are stored to personalize your experience.
• Analytics Data: We collect anonymized usage data such as app interactions and session duration to improve the app experience.
• Crash Reports: We collect crash logs and diagnostic data to identify and fix bugs.

📢 Advertising & Tracking

We display advertisements through Google AdMob. When you first open the app, you will be asked whether you consent to tracking for personalized advertisements. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized.

🔒 Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase services. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information. Data is transmitted using encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app's Settings screen. Upon account deletion, all your personal data, learning progress, and user cards will be permanently removed from our servers.

Swilingu is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
