📜 Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Swilingu ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of
Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
📱 Description of Service
Swilingu is a language learning application that helps users learn vocabulary through swipe-based
interactions. The App provides:
- Vocabulary card learning with swipe gestures
- Multiple language pair support
- Timed quiz mode (Run mode)
- Progress tracking, achievements, and leaderboards
- Customizable learning decks
👤 User Accounts
- You must sign in using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In to use the App.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
- You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
- You may not create multiple accounts or use another person's account.
- You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen, which will permanently remove all
your data.
✅ Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use offensive, inappropriate, or misleading display names
- Attempt to manipulate leaderboards, scores, or achievements
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or networks
- Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the App
- Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities instead of reporting them
📚 Content & Intellectual Property
- All content, designs, graphics, and code in the App are the intellectual property of Swilingu.
- Vocabulary content is provided for educational purposes only.
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reproduce any part of the App without prior written
permission.
- User-generated content (such as display names) remains the responsibility of the user.
📢 Advertisements
The App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. By using the App, you acknowledge that:
- Ads may be displayed during your use of the App
- You may opt in or out of personalized ads via the iOS tracking prompt
- Ad content is provided by third parties and Swilingu is not responsible for its accuracy

- The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
- We are not responsible for any learning outcomes or the accuracy of translations.
- Leaderboard rankings and achievements are for entertainment purposes and carry no monetary value.
🔒 Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy,
which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
🚫 Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in
behavior that is harmful to other users or the platform. You may also terminate your account at any time
by deleting it from the Settings screen.
📝 Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the
updated Terms within the App or on this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes
acceptance of the updated Terms.
⚖️ Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey,
without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
